Onboarding checklist

Welcome to Superhog!

This is a rough checklist on stuff you might need/want to do as part of your start in Superhog and the Data Team.

Feel free to make a copy of this page so you can track your own progress.

Please do contribute adding missing stuff and removing outdated references so the checklist stays in good shape. Your future colleagues will be grateful.

• Get a @superhog.com user and email (contact Ben Robinson/Will Cole)
• Equipment checklist
  • Laptop
    • You probably want something with an i7 and at least 32gb of RAM. If the device you received has lower specs, get in touch with Pablo so we can look for a solution.
  • Headset
  • Mouse
  • Need anything else? Contact Will Coley
• Apps, accesses and permissions

  • Keeper Security Account (contact Mike Hayward). You probably want to make this one first if possible so that you can start keeping all your accesses and passwords tidy from minute one. Not compulsory, just a tip.

  • Also, ask Pablo to get added to Shared Data Folder in Keeper so you have access to shared credentials from the Data Team.

  • You will also need an Authenticator app in your phone for the 2 factor authentication of some apps. Microsoft Authenticator is a sensible option.

  • Outlook and Teams (contact Ben Robinson)

  • Set up your Onedrive to keep all your files backed up

  • Get access to Slack

    • You probably also want to join the following channels
    • #data
    • #data-alerts
    • #data-team-internal
    • #all-staff
    • #bcn-crew
    • Get added to the data-team group

  • Get VPN credentials for the Data Platform (contact Pablo Martin)

  • Get access to Confluence (contact Ben Robinson)

  • Get access to Miro (contact Ben Cotte)

  • Get access to Product Board (contact Ben Cotte)

  • Get access to Notion (contact Ben Cotte)

  • Get access to Mixpanel (contact Ben Cotte)

  • Get access to Azure Devops (contact Ben Robinson)

    • And ask Pablo to be added to the Data project and any relevant repositories

  • Get access to Sage HR (contact Will Coley)

    You will also get some tasks to complete directly in Sage HR:

    • Submit bank account details to HR
    • Read employee handbook
    • Complete personal details
    • Complete emergency contacts
    • Submit birthday
    • Display screen equipment

  • Get access to PowerBI (contact Pablo Martin)

  • Get access to Hubspot (contact Alex Anderson)

  • Get access to Culture Amp (contact Ben Cotte)

  • Get access to the Data Sharepoint (contact Pablo or Uri)
