# How to set static IP in LAN

This file explains how to set up a static IP in my home's LAN.

1. Access the router admin panel.
2. Go to Network > LAN > DHCP Server
3. Look for the machine you want to set up an static IP for and copy the MAC address.
4. Now go to Network > LAN > DHCP Binding and add a new entry 
5. Reboot the router for changes to take effect
