# First ride with Bisq2
I'm going to use Bisq2 for the first time as a normal user.
I want to leverage my fresh-eyes perception, which will only happen once, so I'm taking notes here to document this.
## Downloading
- Where should I go to? I remember bisq.network. It must be there, right?
- The landing page of bisq.network still focuses on the normal Bisq. There's a small section on the top nav bar to Bisq2 that leads to a blogpost.
- This text appears at the end of the page: `Note: If youre already running Bisq 1, carry on! Bisq 2 is a separate application and will install and run alongside Bisq 1 without issue.`
- I think it's confusing. I read the `carry on!` as `carry on with Bisq 1, forget about Bisq 2`, which is clearly not the intended meaning.
- I could throw a small PR to propose the change. [X] Done
- The next link then leads to the downloads page.
- I get the `.deb` file.
- Download works, I run `dpkg`, Bisq 2 installs with no issue.
- The new icon appears in my launcher.
## First execution
- Open executing for the first time, I see the User Agreement.
- No way to change the language here. What if I don't speak english?
- Landed on the home. All fine.
- I've fucked around and all looks good, no major pains. A few pointless observations
- The `Offer list` opening icon in the Bisq Easy offerbook is kind of hard to find, but the view is wonderful. I find it way more useful that the chat, which is very hard to search in.
